Internal Exchange and MX/DNS

Hello

I have an internal exchange server 2013 which was working with another supplier but they had to many resctictions on the account so I have just moved this domain to my BT Business account.

I have been to the domain centre to set up my DNS and MX records to point to my public facing static IP but the changes just revert back to the default BT settings?

So my question is how do I route inbound and out bound mail traffic to my internal server with BT which should be a simple process?

Examples

domainname.co.uk MX mail.domainname.co.uk

mail.domainname.co.uk A [IP Address]

owa.domainname.co.uk A [IP Address]

autodiscover.domainname.co.uk A [IP Address]

Testing with nslookup etc just shows the default BT settings (which wont delete either!)

This domain has been transfered in to BT and I have Business Infinity broadband and need to set up what ever I need to to have the email backup and running again.

Thanks in advance and for hopefully a quick response!

Well good to see there is a lot of help out there.......... Loads of views and no responses ???? I dont see the point of a forum when it is all one way!!

A BT mod comes through every couple of days to weed out the kitchen spammer, don't expect they will answer the question in open forum and will probably request you PM them or phone the support line.
