Internet is slow

Hi,

My internet connection is slow,I tried to look into it but could not find what exacly is the problem.Can any one help me.

First off ...

Reboot EVERYTHING - PC,  Modem, Router, Hub (depending on whether you have ADSL or VDSL).

Power everything OFF and leave for a few minutes.  

Disconnect cables from PC to Hub/Router, Router/Hub to modem,  modem to socket  (or hub to socket)

Power up and wait a coupe of minutes for everything to boot.   Connect modem or hub to socket,  then the other cables.
