We have the bt business hub which has three pcs attached by ethernet cable and another two pcs that are connected wirelessly. All of a sudden last week the pcs that are wireless all lost connectivity and can no longer access the internet. The wired ones are still working ok and I have purchased a long ethernet cable and connected one wireless one to the router direct and hey presto it works. The other pc is too far away to try so has had no internet for a week now. Any ideas as to why this should suddenly happen? I cannot even connect my iphone to the wireless anymore which I used to be able to do. All devices recognise the router but once key is in they say little or no connectivity and we cannot get emails or browse.
It is possible that there might be an authentication issue here. Just for testing purposes, try disabling the authentication(no password required). If it lets you connect, try turning it up a notch by using WEP this time.
