MYSQL Workbench 5.2

Hi,

I'm a newbie to MYSQL and I am having problems setting up a connection to my BT hosted MYSQL database using workbench 5.2.

I try to do this by creating a new server instance profile, and use a standard TCP/IP connection method

I have been using the same connection details (host, user name and password) that I use with FileZilla to connect with but these do not seem to work.

Any ideas where I am be going wrong!

It is more than likely an issue with the credentials. In your hosting control panel you should have something called a MySql database manager. Check it out for the username and hostname. The password may be different from the one you use to login to filezilla but it depends on how you set it. The database manager will let you reset it though, if you're having difficulties remembering.
