We are having difficulty sending email to anyone on a btinternet.com email address.  We are getting the following message:

 

smtpin12.bt.ext.cpcloud.co.uk rejected your message to the following e-mail addresses:
 
 
smtpin12.bt.ext.cpcloud.co.uk gave this error:
IP REPUTATION BAD (please check for IP address listing on reputation services) 
 
A problem occurred during the delivery of this message to this e-mail address. Try sending this message again. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.

We have checked our ip address and domain on blacklists and get a clean bill of health.  We have no issues with any other email addresss.  Can you please advise?

Hi CW

Its possible that you are on a blacklist,  the easiest way to check this is to go to www.whayismyip.com and take a note of the IP.

Then go to www.mxtoolbox.com click on the blacklist tool and then fire in that IP.

You may see that you are on a blacklist, if this is the case you will need to speak to the providers of this blacklist to clean your IP.

 

Also if you are having an issue with BT Internet addresses the best people to speak to would be the residential forum
