Hi
I am hearing impaired and need to connect a DECT base station to an existing wall port that currently uses a digital handset. (the DECT handset has an induction coil fitted). I understand from web searches that I need to obtain an ATA-2 to allow the connection.
My question is: does the ATA allow the use of a standard telephone adaptor so that I can connect the DECT Base plus a normal analogue wired handset ie REN of 2, or will this overload the ATA?
thanks
Kim
