I've been asked to help move a company's mail and web hosting to a new provider. I think the company have been happy with BT but are looking to make use of a specific web application platform now.
I'd like to know if it's possible to just update the MX records via the BT Domains Centre to the new provider's IP address and how much disruption to the mail service is this likely to cause?
Once the MX records have updated, we'll look to point the A records to new IPs. Is it possible to unlock these as the domain is specified as a Primary Domain?
