I recently bought the two-year rights to a co.uk web address and have built my site on a third party server. It took me an hour to finally realize I couldn't change the nameserver via the preference panes on the BT site and another 20mins to find the email form to request a nameserver change (www.dnsforms.co.uk - in case anyone's searching).
I am not the bill payer for our household BT account so when I tried to submit the form I could not provide a WM account number. I bought and paid for the web address via the internet and only have an 'Order reference number'. Even the emailed receipt contains no reference or account number. The WM account number is a requirement for the submission of the Nameserver change request and this is the only way BT seem to accept such requests... so what, exactly, am I supposed to do now?
I'd appreciate a solution. Thanks.

Solved. I phoned BT's customer service dept. (Tel: 152) and they provided WM No. for me. Very helpful, very quick (once I finally got to speak to someone).
