We have two businesss that are both using the same main phone number. As part of this phone number we also have a bunch of direct dials set up.
The two businesses are now splitting. One will retain the original main number and we want to give a new number to the 2nd business.
Can I somehow chose one the the existing direct dial numbers and make that the main number for the 2nd business? if so how do I go about this?
Or if not how do I get issued a new main number for the second business?
(I would ask my internal IT team but the change are confidential so I cannot yet!)
