Having placed order on 2 November 2015 with BT , 2 months later, I still dont have a working phone line or broadband. Everytime I call and get place on hold, I end up in India where they all promise that all will be in working order and that it will be sorted, guess thats the way they are trained with a pattern to lie to customers. Really dont understand why it takes so long for them to install a phone line and broadband in the premises since Iam already a paying customer with BT for 2 existing lines for the past 10 years, yet when I speak to the call centre, they all seem to think that Iam a new build and thats why its taking so long for the job to complete. In all honesty, BT all seem to do is employ amateurs who know nothing at all in this kind of business, since placing the order, I have had 6 BT sub contractor guys who come and look at the site and go away, only to cancel the job, maybe its too much work for them that they will miss out on cups of tea and a cigarette break. Doesnt get any better when I speak to people in India after holding on the phone call for 30-45 mins, all seem to think that they know the area where Iam and promise me the world that it will be installed, that was 2 months ago and Iam still waiting. On 22 January 2016, having phoned up the customer services because I was promised a BT engineer which never turned up, I was told to place a completley new order and start again. Explanation was that my address was incorrect and that this was confusing the BT engineers?????? After having 6 dopey guys come and go, where was the confusion??????they all came didnt complete the install. I wonder what the new order will do, will it have super duper drugs that will kick start my order. This is getting beyond a joke, I wonder how long I will wait for this to complete.
Hi alanwan,
is this for a business or home line with broadband?
If it is for a business line with broadband, can you send me a private message with your contact details and order details, I can get someone to have a look into this for you.
