If you receive this error message when trying to view your web site, it can mean one of several factors.

1) Check that your index.html/ index.php home page is loaded correctly on the server.

You can check this via FTP. If you are unfamiliar with how to FTP, please see here:

2) There is no active web hosting on the account. If you believe the hosting should be active, simply contact us and we’ll sort this out asap for you.

3) Infected web pages can be taken down to protect other users as we operate a shared hosting environment. It may be your web site has been compromised so contact us and again, we’ll sort this out asap for you and advise on how to protect your web files.

4)The domain may have expired. We do send reminder emails to customers advising they should renew their domain names but it may be that, for whatever reason, you failed to receive one. Simply contact us and we’ll help you resolve the issue.

5) If you are using a .htaccess redirect file, check that it’s resolving is directing properly.

If you use BT’s Worpdress installer to load your web site, ensure your Wordpress dashboard settings match the one input when using the BT Wordpress installer.

If you feel none of the above apply to you, please feel free to contact us and we’ll investigate further.
