Paid for Web Site not appearing on Google

Hi

Im a bit of a noob i have a .com domain purchased and also have free account (which initially i did not want).

The business package and the web site ended up mywebsite.org.uk it is published and all set to go but there is no sign of it on the web??

Ideally i hoped for the site to appear as www.mywebsite.com if i googled by the name but nothing?

What could be up with the settings it has thrown me way off?

I am sorry that you seem to be having difficulty with this, annvalepoultry, your query is not at all clear to me.  Perhaps you should Contact Us , we will be able to help or at least advise about how you can resolve it.

From your post it sounds like you own the domain - yourdomain.org.uk

If you want your website to appear as yourdomain.com both in the address bar and in search engines, then you need to purchase / already own yourwebsite.com.

If you are happy with your website and domain name, you can go ahead and submit your URL for the googlebots to crawl at http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl
