Hi all - hope someone can help!
The issue I have is with my direct dial line at work. When people call that line the phone never rings out loud (it does flash up briefly that there is a call coming in on the handset) – I have checked numerous phones on that line and the same thing happens. The flashing on the phone (BT Paragon) then stops, but for the person calling in it is still ringing. This never clicks off – they always have to hang up. And the answering service never kicks in (despite being set up on BT answering service and the phone being set up to answer).
BT haven't been terribly enlightening! They've tested the line and say there is not fault, but they've sent out 2 engineers with the wrong details and one person also told me that line doesn't exist - the next one a few minnutes later said it does! So if I can fix it myself that would be better!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problems might be?
