Problems sending email from Android phone after upgrade to Office 365

Hi,

 

I've just been upgraded ot Office 365. My PC is working fine (Exchange) but my Android phone will only receive email. I've got 

 

SMTP Server: smtp.outlook.com

Username: gxxxxxxx@btconnect.com

P/W: xxxxxxxxx

Port: 587

Use Secure Connection: ticked

Use Secure Password (TLS): set to Always

Authentication: set to auto

Verify Certificate: tried both ticked and unticked

 

Any suggestions of things to try?

try setting

 

Authentication to Password 

and can you try sending when connected to the BT wifi please 

as we can only guarantee sending when connected via BT

 

This is because each ISP has different spam settings and will block unauthorised email addresses from sending
