RBL server rbl.btconnect.com

So we have a BT broadband line with fixed IP address and we have another line from another provider also with fixed IP.

 

We send our e-mail thorugh the other provider's line and so through their fixed IP address but via BT's authenticated SMTP service.

 

It's worked fine for months but today we seem to have fallen foul of the BT RBL server.

 

The IP address that we send from is not on any blacklists, we are authenticating with our username and password correctly with BT but now all of a sudden all messages are returned with:  

 

Diagnostic-Code: SMTP; 554 Mail from 83.218.132.253 refused, see RBL server 

rbl.btconnect.com

 

 

 

Can anyone help ??

Contact BT customer service so they could assist you with it. Sounds like a problem on their end.
