You can edit the subnet to allow more than 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.253. This is just the default the 2700 is configured for. In theory you could connect hundreds upon hundreds of pcs to the 2700. But I wouldn't recommend connecting that many pcs to a single ADSL broadband line, it'll be very, very, very slow.
So for a realistic answer to your question: I wouldn't connect more than 10 - 15 pcs.
