We have several static ip addresses in use through our BT Hub (v3). A device that did have a static ip is not available anymore but it's static ip has not been released for reuse.
Is there anyway to see the full list of assigned static ip's and release one's that are assigned to a non existant device ?
Thanks for your advice, unfortunately the ip's i 'm missing do not show up in either list. Is there anyway to reset the assigned static IP's ?
To intrude and answer Tim's question. I have been trying to set the IP address of a device via Advanced Settings/Business Network. "Always use this IP address" set to Yes. I change the IP address, click Apply, and get
Conflict
The IP address entered conflicts with a device using the same IP address on your business network. Please enter a different IP address. |
The IP address I am trying to set USED to belong to a different device some time ago, but does not appear in the DHCP Table.
(There is something else, though probably not related: in Devices I see a device that appears twice, once Connected and once Not Connected. Perhaps it's Schroedinger's Cat.)
I fear I shall have to factory reset, though it's a right pain setting it all up again.
