Can't remove externally hosted domain that is "pending verification".
Emails from other BT customers are not getting through to us now though because BT's mail servers are treating it as BT-hosted for email, when it's not.
I need to delete it.
I expect difficulty getting this done over the phone...
Can anybody help?

Hi Carl0s,
Please use the dns enquiry form at www.dnsforms.co.uk to request this.
We should respond to your enquiry within 1 working day.
Kind Regards,

Thanks Ian. I will try that.
I have already opened a ticket with support@btdomainsaccount.com, and they have simply replied to my question (worded much like the start of this thread), with:
"The domain name is not registered with us. You will need to contact your current registrar regarding this domain."
I'll try what you said though..

Hi Carlos. Is it really one day for this to be resolved? This is good news if that's the case.

It has not been sorted.
Instead of removing the domain from the portal's list of "external domains", it has been removed from the list of allowed mail-relay domains.
As a result, my customer now cannot send out any emails at all from their domain name, and the original problem still exists too.

We don't want the domain tied to any of BT's web/email hosting platform at all, but we want to be able to send emails via smtp.btclick.com.
It still needs removing from the hosting portal's list of "external domains". That is the list of domains which are registered & DNS managed outside of BT, but are to be used with BT's web/email hosting. We don't want that.
Although I'm told otherwise, some BT customers are receiving SMTP #5.5.1 (user unknown) from c2beaomr08.btconnect.com
