We currently have broadband and Business Email Lite with BT, but now we want to move to Microsoft Exchange e-mail.
We use an external '@ourdomain.org.uk' domain on Business Email Lite and we need to switch this to Microsoft Exchange.
In order to do this, the Microsoft website tells me we will need to remove 'ourdomain.org.uk' from btXXXXXXXpop.onmicrosoft.com as it is already added to that account.
I cannot see anywhere to remove external domains on the BT 'Manage services' page so can I ask how we would go about removing 'ourdomain.org.uk' from Business Email Lite?
If this is something we need to ask BT to do, can we request to do it at a particular time to avoid disruption to email? Thank you.

Hi Eimm,
You can do this by logging into your account via http://myoffice.bt.com and going into the "manage services" section.
Click on "Email summary".
From here you can then highlight the domain users and click "de-activate user", once you de-activate the last user the domain will be removed from Microsoft allowing you to use this with your new mail provider.
Before doing this it is recommended you back up all your email if you are using a mail client such as Outlook.
