Service status updates for email

I have been having a problem downloading email for the last few days. This seems to be a fairly regular occurrence with BT and when (if) you do get to speak to someone they say there is a known problem with the servers and to try again later.  This has happened on several occasions prior to today but there is NEVER any mention of it on the service status page.

BT's Email service is worse now than it's ever been. For the past two weeks I have struggled for hours daily to connect to the service. I'm not happy with BT or indeed it's consideration for its customers (You and me). Without us there'd be no BT the bosses should remember that.

I'm leaving BT in the next day or so as I cancelled my account when the latest price hikes were mentioned to us. I'm an old age pensioner and BT have priced me out so when more of us oldies realise this, they will lose many more. Customer service stinks - it doesn't exist. Prices, well BT should consider this, we are living in hard times so it's time they stopped charging like a Rhino.
