We have just moved into a new office and had an additional auxiliary line added to our main number ie two lines from the same number. 

 

We have set up the feature when there is only one person in the office and they are on the phone the call goes to the 2nd phone. This is fine if there are two people in the office but there is a problem with that in that as there is no one there it has to ring a minimum of 6 times out loud before it goes to our answering service line.

 

Does anyone know of a way we can avoid this happening.  Perhaps a feature that we can put in to the second phone which redirects the call immediately to the answering service line?  I am confused so hope someone can help.

I will be opening a new office with at least 5-7 computer desk with phone and all. I want to know how to get started.
