We are a small business and have just terminated our internet services at one of our premises. We are out of contract terms and are being charged £25 just for terminating the service. Cannot see any reference to this in any terms and conditions or paperwork that was issued to us when we took out the service about 4 years ago. Anybody know why this charge is being levied or does it fall under the category that BT can alter the terms and conditions of a contract whenever or however they like with the customer only finding out at the point of giving notice?
I heard about this once but I also can't see this somewhere in the termas and conditions. Can someone shed a light on this please?
