Total incompetence. How can a business endure this?

We have been without broadband for over a week now, BT's mistake, no helpful action, poor information, we start from the beginning each time we phone BT and speak to somebody new.

We simply changed a contact name on our account a few weeks ago.  A cease order was put on our broadband "accidentally" by BT.  Our broadband was cancelled, we have been left high and dry since.

Spoke to four people to figure out it was a BT accident but they couldn't reverse it, we had to create a new account which would be ready on April 5th.  This is after the broadband department blamed phones and phones blamed broadband.  Our new broadband order "might" be fast tracked but no guarantee.  So potentially 9 days with no internet right off the bat - no care that we're a startup and are trying to get a business off the ground.

Now April 7th and still nothing.  11 days with no internet for our business because of a BT mistake that nobody can take ownership of.

We've been phoning BT each day to get told something different.  Ready within 24hrs, ready by 8pm.  Now April 7th and we actually got called by BT and told our internet is now working.  It wasn't.  We phoned BT faults who said no, sorry you were told wrong information, it won't be ready until April 11th now.  Our order via the tracking system says closed.

BT, get your act together.  You're hurting our startup business and probably many others.  From our perspective as a company BT is in complete shambles.

Funniest thing is I was told we can't file a complaint until our order is processed.  This might be never?

Frimley, I am sorry that the order process isn't going smoothly.  If you can PM me some details, your order number or broadband telephone number, I'll see what is going on with this and how we can get this resolved quickly for you.  Please don't post it here.
