I visited this forum to vent some frustration and wow...what do I find? A whole WORLD of pain, anger and frustration courtesy of the lovely BT.
Since June 2012 I have been in a battle with BT regarding our account mess and I'm at wits end on how to resolve it. Our crime...we moved premises, that's all! Since then we have not had one correct bill, not one! Throughout the various months I have been advised that we are in credit to a few hundred pounds to now apparently owing them over £4k....eh?? We are a small business with 4 telephones (one telephone line and one broadband line) not a call centre...or perhaps they have confused our account with their call centre in Mumbai or whichever continent I'm calling. I'm now on first name terms with their SheBot who I have called Anna and she makes my ears bleed listening to her tell me to call the customer complaints department...I'm not sure BT understand the meaning of either "customer" or "complaint". In my business if we behaved the way BT do then I would not have a business.
I wrote a 4 page letter of complaint in January detailing exactly the issues (in effect doing their job for them) and telling them that I would no longer deal with their call centre complaints staff because they are so ineffective....guess what? Got a call today from the call centre in Mumbai advising me that they had my letter and were sending me a statement of account so I can check what is correct or not...sorry!!!!??? I thought that was BT's job or is it just me who is expecting too much? Incompetent doesn't even cover what they are. I have made several requests to meet with somebody who is able to speak to me with authority and capaiblity....not possible apparently. So, now I am waiting for the statement of account which will be included with my letter to the ombudsman.
AND NO BT I WILL NOT BE CONSIDERING YOU FOR MY BUSINESS MOBILE PHONE PACKAGE WHICH IS UP FOR GRABS NEXT MONTH. YOU HAVE SUCKED ENOUGH LIFE OUT OF ME ALREADY!
