Well. I moved from TalkTalk a little while ago due to having a download speed of 0.90 Kbps and an Upload of 0.25 Kbps when I was meant to have 8 Mbps... It wouldn't even allow me to watch YouTube videos on 240p quality at times!! Yet they constantly stressed that it was my side causing these issues, after a while I began disconnecting randomly, once again was said to be on my side... So I decided to come to BT and boy was I impressed.
My area only allows a max of 7Mbps but I get 6.5 Mbps Download and that's so much better! I can do my daily game downloads on Steam and Origin relatively quickly. I can watch Netflix (Which I never could do) and I can also watch YouTube videos at any quality even at night!
However.. I do some gameplay streaming as I run a small community consisting of a number of admins and other Live streamers, but my upload only sits at 0.35 Kbps with BT. My download is brilliant but when it comes to streaming it's more upload that is required rather than download speed. Now it can stream relatively ago with the odd frame drop (lagg) to the viewers that I reguarly have watch.. but I know some BT customers have upload speeds exceeding 1Mbps etc.. Is there any way I can upgrade the upload on the package I have? or is it down to the max speed I can get in this area?
