Hi,
I have bought the a few domain names with BT and want it to point some of these domain names to other webspace I have outside of BT
For instance I have www.dynamic-Kravmaga.co.uk and I want to forward this to www.bmgsolutions.com/dkm
I have followed the BT instructions but all I get is the following message, nothing can be changed in the advanced to get it to work
You are trying to set a www record, when one already exists for this domain. This can cause issues with the domain resolving properly. None of the changes just submitted have been saved. If you need to change a www record please use Advanced Domain Manager.
Can anyone help? I have tried talking to BT but all I get is the 'run around'. I was told if I drop my Web Hosting that I could use the my office domain centre facility and forward the domain name myself....suffice to say this did not work.
I am now awaiting a 'supervisor' to contact me from BT abd guess what...she hasn't..surprise surprise....

Having spoken to the Domain Name Services team, BMcGuire, the "A" records which were preventing you setting up forwarding have been removed. Please try again and let us know how you get on.
The DNS team should be the first point of contact for anything to do with hosted domains. Please use this Contact Us page, they work entirely via e-mail, queries are usually actioned within 24 hours.
I note that neither bmgsolutions.com nor dynamic-kravmaga.co.uk are hosted by us. If you are having difficulty with forwarding your domains to either of these, please contact the Domain Name Services team directly, using the DNS Enquiry form here: Contact Us

You are right. The domain name is not .co.uk but actually .com as in www.dynamic-kravmaga.com
which is hosted by BT. As I said earlier I have webspace NOT hosted by BT but by another provider and I want to point above domain name at that.....which is www.bmg-solutions.com/dkm
When you log into my office and it tells you that forwarding can be done. However each time I try I get the message that the A record has been completed etc etc etc.
Oh and BT have still not got back to me after they said they would.
