Which router?

I am currently using a 2Wire 2700HGV router with SingTel software for our office set up which includes two PC's and two Falcon phones on BT Hosted VOIP. Since moving locations recently, the call quality has really suffered even though our internet speeds are faster.

I'm thinking that part of the solution is to get a better router with QoS so we can prioritise the voice calls over our general internet surfing (oops, I mean work...).

Can anyone recommend a good router/modem or suggest anything else which may help our situation?

Thanks for that! The line and broadband is not provided by BT but by XLN. I have spoken to them and they have arranged for it to be upgraded to 'next generation' which will apparently give me better upload speeds which will help with my problem.

Thanks nayan for the link. I was thinking of going to go for the Draytek 2830 anyway and so that has sealed it for me...

Hi CBSlade

Sorry to see you have been having issues, unfortunately I can not recommend any 3rd party routers as we have not tested any but looking at your post you have advised your current router is the 2700.

We currently have a later model the 2701, can you please send me more info via private message I.E. your new broadband number and existing hosted voip number and I will look into this for you.

Regards

Sean

I would not like to recommend you third party routers, but I will give you a link where you will find all the routers with different configurations and models from BT. I am sharing the link here :- http://www.shop.bt.com/category/networking,routers-and-switches/11302 Smiley Happy
