Windows 7 connection to fibre network

Does anyone know of a guide to setup my Windows 7 computer to the fibre network using a cable, not by wireless?

You can connect your Windows 7 machine directly to the BT Openreach modem.

 

You will need to setup a new connection on your Win7 box to connect to the internet using PPPOE with the BT credentials you have been provided.

 

Alternatively, if you have the BT Hub, there are network points in the back that you can connect your Win7 box to directly.
