Hi all,
Hopefully this is a fairly simple one. I've pointed my domain at my webserver using the BT Advanced Domain Manager - see image below.
The problem is that whilst www.<mydomainname>.co.uk works fine, without the www it doesn't work.
I tried adding a CNAME with the Key as the domain name (without the www) and the value as the server address, but that didn't work either.
Any suggestions with this one, would really appreciate it!
Many thanks
Kevin

Hi there,
Try changing it to look like mine. Obviously use your own servers IP.

Hi there,
It should work by default, without you having to put any additions in the advanced manager.
I would contact BT by phone or email as it sounds like a DNS fault.
Thanks

Hi,
If you do a WhoIs/DNS lookup on your domain name, does it return the same information you see in your BT Advanced Domain Manager?

Thanks for the replies, I've run a DNS report which you can see here: http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/dnsreport?domain=richardburbidge.com&format=raw&loadresults=true&token...
It's saying that there's no A record for the domain, but how do I set one up through the Advanced Domain Management console - I keep getting errors!
