epages: Email notification of new orders

nothingbuttoys

Hi!

I want to receive an email whenever my ePages shop receives a new order. It's not a standard email event, and after checking the boards and the admin guide, I can't see how to set this up or even if ePages supports what I thought would be a standard ecommerce feature.

If anyone can help I'd be grateful. Happy to send you a discount coupon in return for your help since this would make my life easier!

Cheers!

Hi nothingbuttoys,

What you need to do is enter your email address in the BCC field in the "order receipt confirmation" event, this way you will get a copy but your customer won't know.

Orchie

P.S. why not post a link to your site for us to have a look at?

Cheers for that, Orchie, works a treat! I've been so busy building the site and sorting out the artwork for our brochure, I was frustrated that I couldn't get a simple feature to work. Much appreciated - and so fast!

Found your link about posting my website, so I've added Nothing But Toys on there.

Will certainly drop by here as my first stop if I have any issues or can help anyone else out.

Appreciate the feedback, Orchie, and if you have any young kids (+nephews or nieces) I will honour my offer of a discount coupon if you need anything since your reply fixed my problem (as long as that's not in breach of the rules of this site, of course!).

Cheers
