Hi everyone,
I would like to know if there is a trial version, or a trial period for the eshop (not elite).
The reason being that there are many ecommerce solutions available, and some of the free ones are very good (with a little tweaking here and there),
I would like to try out the eshop provided by BT, but i do not want to tie myself into a 6/12 month contract etc, if i decide this solution is not for me.
Also I don't mind paying for the trial (say 1week or month), but i dont want to have to pay 3 months in advance and then lose my money because i am not using the site.
Basically is there a version that is offline to customers, but open to me as an admin to 'play' around with, and then if it works for me upgrade to paid, then going online for customers keeping all the work i've carried out intact?
Thanks in advance for your replies
Russell
Hello,
Thank you for your question.
There is no trial version available of the eshop.
As far as BT Web Consult & Build is concerned, and if you're unsure of your requirements, you may ask for a free no obligation 15 minute consultation, a written report and a fixed price quote to build your site.
We remain at your disposal should you request further information.
With best regards

Thanks for your reply,
Yes I am aware of the Consult & Build service, but as im just starting out I want to be able to do as much as I can myself to keep costs to an absolute minimum.
To make my initial question clearer, If I try your eshop solution and then decide thats its 'not for me', am I tied into a minimum term contract?
And if so. How long is this minimum term?
Thanks
Russell
According the the T+Cs which I have provided a link to, there is a 12 month minimum period.
