hosting account domain name renewal

I have recieved an email from nominet abouth hte domain name used with my ongoing hosting account saying the domain name is will be dropped in 7 days. how do I access the domain name to renew it?

Thanks Dave, I might need a bit more help. I have this name as the registered name of my BT web hosting account, only knew it was expired when I recieved an email from nominet. I have other domain names registered to this account set to auto renew, I'd assumed the main name would be renewed automatically as it is the main name for the hosting and cannot be managed under the manage domain names in my control panel. Tried to phone BT, busy for 20 mins. Domain expired middle of July. The link you gave me says

Are you sure it has expired? Can you post the domain so I can do a whois lookup on it?
