Do i need a ADSL filter really?

hi

my work broadband has nothing else on it apart from a router.

The BT master socket which im using has nothing else attached.

If i take the face place off to get to the test socket, there are no wires attached to the face plate

Do i really still need a micro filter?

(asking as the upgrade to ADSL2+ is really screwing up our internet)

(Router is a draytec vigor 2800)

thanks

[ Edited ]

short answer, no

if however you plan on plugging something into it then yes you will

you will abviously need an cable that converts bt socket to rj11, or an adaptor for your rj11 cable
