Well what a surprise, this Office 365 is all cocked up and is the usual shambles from the dismal effort that is BT Business. Having my clients wasted a load of time trying to upgrade themselves by following the instructions sent (success rate 5%), I am then called in to sort out the whole sorry mess. We then find that on the new service, relaying is denied (550) which never used to be the case with the old smtp.btconnect.com. So my clients can no longer use their domain names as before. It was a nightmare before anyway, you used to have to fax BT with certificates of authenticity to prove you owned the domain, but at least it would work eventually, despite the ridiculously laboured hoop-jumping BT insisted upon. However now it just doesn't work at all and the "help" desk says it's their new policy. Well screw your policy, I'm moving all my clients away from this dismal platform, and not before time. What other ISP does this in the UK? None.
