Hi, I currently have a residential BT Line with BT ADSL internet.
I operate a part time business from my home address and use the phone number for business purposes. I currently divert calls that are not answered within 15 seconds to my mobile (vodafone).
The diverts costs are far too expensive currently and I'm looking for ways to reduce this.
Questions:
1. Do BT offer a product to divert calls to a mobile cheaper than I'm currently being charged. For example, no charge for the divert feacture, no connection fee and billing per second?
2. If not, can i request to port the number to a VOIP service and replace the number on my landline so I dont lose my internet services? I'm guessing not and the port request would effectivly close my account, losing my ADSL in the process.
