150m from exchange and only 7mb

I live close to an exchange, 150m, I can see it. But I'm only getting 7mb on an ADSL Max.

Exchange is LLU enabled.

All line speed tests with BT & other ISP suggest the same 6-7mbs should be available  on all 3 of the lines I test at home.

so close but so slow, why?

ADSL Max has a sync rate of just over 8Mbps - with full sync you will only see around 7.2Mbps

So. you are getting the maximum your set up is capable of.    

However, if your exchange has ADSL2 installed then you need to upgrade your service with the ISP.
