We have just had BT Business fibre broadband installed and although the line speed is good the throughput is slow, with the wifi connection dropping out and only 4 bars on the signal, thats with 12ft clear line of sight between the hub and the computer wifi adaptor. After spending all day today looking at the problem I discover that the hub is 802.11g, thats poor for a business package and will only work if have all the equipment in 1 room (or in the entrance hall in our case), not the business option we expected.
I would consider 802.11g plusMIMO the absolute minimum but 802.11n would be the sensible option, so if you are having trouble with your wifi just cram everything in one office and it will all work fine.
At the point of sale we were informed we could connect 10 computers to our new business fibre broadband so we must be talking wifi.
As described and fit for purpose come to mind ?
