I have a domain with BT and on 2 occasions my upgrade to 365 mail has been pulled (by BT) at the last minute because I use a number of aliases to collect all mail to domain addresses such as sales@domain ; support@domain ; accounts@domain to one account (currently my own single me@btconnect.com ).
I assume under 365 that I will (eventually) be able to set up me@domain / sales@domain / support@domain and accounts@domain as separate email accounts and re-direct sales, support and accounts to me@domain leaving me with a single login to read all emails? or have I understood things incorrectly?
If correct I will try to push BT to allow upgrade during the quieter summer period.

I haven't tried it with 365 here at BT, though I am not sure if they already have this type of feature.
