365 and mail relay

If you are using mail relay ie your own domain ie you@yourdomain.com instead of you@btconnect.com dont follow the instructions for setting up 365.  Instead BT get hours of fun by letting you try and figure out for yourself that it wont work, you can then wait a while to get through to an operator who can take over your screen for another hour and try and figure it out because BT havent told them either.
In the meantime if you think you want to use webmail as it might be easier you can spend a few hours trying to figure out the url because it was more fun not to give you that information either.
Then you can argue that the mail relay that you have had for the last 10 years is valid and you dont need to reapply for it before it will all work, and also try to persuade them that the welcome email yoyu have received is genuine and not spam.
And your reward when it all gets sorted out is a new and improved product that now takes 10 times longer to send and receive email.
Lots of wine and valium will soon be available from the BT online shop.
Thanks BT

Hi,

Sorry it's sold out.  The pre-orders from BT staff trying to fix Office 365 issues used up all the available stock.

🙂

At last. A hint that BT have totally *ucked up the migration and got it very wrong.

Yes a simple statement like sorry customers we got it totally wrong would go a long way.. and to compensate here is (something)...

Something is in the offering if you shout loud enough but liability is denied. Me I have so far not accepted.

Hi,

Right it stops here FSDSMAN.

I make a light hearted comment to another poster and you stick your oar in.

You've made your point repeatedly about how much you hate BT and what we've done, but it stops now.

If I see one more post from you about this I will ban you.  Permanently.

I don't want to shut you up, but you've spent ages on this forum just ranting.  No more.

This forum is intended to help customers. It is not a platform for people to go on and on and on about something we all know is causing problems.

Now.  Do you wish to remain an active member, or would you prefer I just permabanned you now?

Your choice.

And before you ask, yes I can very much do that under the T&Cs of the forum.
