Did you mean:

A minor annoyance but.....

We get an email every month saying that

Your latest BT OneBill will be ready to download from here in 24 hours

Does anyone at BT understand how utterly ridiculous this is?  Why not just tell us when it IS READY NOW.  All this means is that I have to remember to log in TOMORROW to get my bill which is REALLY ANNOYING.  Do they think the anticipation will add something exciting to my day? It just illustrates how far from reality the folks at BT are when it comes to doing things in a sensible businesslike fashion.

Even more infuriating is that the link doesn't even take you to your bill!  First you log in then you are offered csv files to download for call analysis, then, if you actually want to download the actual bill you have to go to a different page (for which there isn't a link) and log in again.

Even TalkTalk are better than this.

Hi jmck,

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback, as it really helps us to improve things for all our customers.

I've given your feedback to our Billing team and they've noticed you’re receiving new bill notifications for our old online OneBill service. There is a now a new and improved service for OneBills. Simply go to www.bt.com/billing and register for access to the new service. You’ll need your email address and a copy of your latest bill because there are a couple of details you'll need to enter for security reasons. If you have any problems while trying to register, you’ll be able to chat online to one of our Advisors using the Livechat link on the page.

The Billing team also tell me they'll look into the wording on the emails sent from the old platform as well as trying to delay sending them for 24 hrs.

Hope it all works out for you.

I still don't get any email notification when a bill may be or is ready. the first I know is when I see the Direct debit has been taken.

I have tried several times to get this sorted out.

I would not say it is a minor annoyance, it is a major one.

Every other company I deal with, big or small notifies me 10 to 14 days before the account is charged, why can't you do that BT?
