Accessing webserver from outside Lan (Business Hub 5)

Hello, I am rapidly l;osing my hair and would be grateful for any suggestions for the following problem.

We have a LAN with about 5 computers with a web server hosting our own websites.  This has been running for two years with no problems with Port Forwarding/Static IP/Firewall all set up using BT Business Hub 3.

Our contract comes up for renewal and we get a nice shiny BT Business Hub 5.  All works flawlessly, connects to the internet with no difficulty.  We copy all the Port Forwarding/Static IP/Firewall settings which we used on the v3 hub to the V5 hub and lo and behold, we can only access our websites through the LAN.

We use GtMetrix to assess our sites speeds and all sites timeout.  Anonymous Proxies do the same.   Our IP telephones work with no problem.

I have tried every conceivable menu option/restarting/rebooting/changing static IP with no luck - can any tell me what I've missed?  This is the second BT HUb 5 so its unlikely to be a hardware fault.

I replace the Hub 5 with the old hub 3/modem combination and all is well again.

It 'feels' like a firewall problem but I've tried all available options.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Richard

Hi lamina,

have you been in contact with the helpdesk to check the hub 5 configuration?
