I've reviewed previous questions about Annex M but last one in forum was a year ago so just looking for an update on current situation.
Current contract: BT Business Total Broadband - Advanced Support ADSL2 Next Gen
I checked the BT availability site and Annex M was shown as available on the existing broadband phone number.
Phoned up sales to get it allocated and was initially informed that I "couldn't get it". When I pointed out that it was showing on the availability page, the response changed to, "it won't make any difference anyway as you are on ADSL2". (Which confuses me as I thought BT's "ADSL2 Next Gen" was everyone else's "ADSL2+", therefore Annex M is an available option).
Can someone clarify whether this is an official BT line or did I get the wrong support operator? Thanks.

Hi xdavid,
I am afraid that BT Business Broadband, do not have/offer an Annex M product or service. It could show as being availlable as BT Wholesale who supply broadband to BT Retail ( home and business) can offer Annex M to a 3rd party broadband suppliers such as Talk Talk, Plusnet etc.
