Hi all,
Back in Business is a freebie provided with ISDN30, has anybody ever had to use it? I figure a crisis is not the right time to find out what to expect from a service so I'd appreciate any advice / comments, especially from anybody who has been through the experience.
Cheers,
Vicky

Hi Vicky,
Can't say I've ever used this Back In Business option (thankfully I've never needed it ) so I can't speak from experience however I found some info on it on bt.com here:
and
Further information for ISDN30/30e
(quoted from site)
Benefit from “Back In Business” for FREEAs an ISDN30 customer, you’ll also benefit from “Back in Business”, which is supplied free of charge.
In the event of a service failure, Back in Business will give 2 options:
Call Centre Option
- Calls diverted to the BT Back in Business call centre
- Callers hear a recorded announcement, informing them that your business is experiencing difficulties.
- Customer is then transferred to a team, of advisors who will take their details.
- You can then receive these messages from us via mobile, fax or email at half hour or hourly/2 hourly intervals, the choice is yours.
Voicemail option
- A divert service will route all calls to our voice mail service
- You will have the ability to personalise the voicemail to your liking
- You can then access your messages remotely with your own personalised PIN number
Take it you already know all this, but if anyone else out there has an ISDN30/30e and didn't know you got it here it is.
It does sound pretty reasonable, especially as it is free, but it would be interesting to hear if anyone has actually used this and what they thought.

Hi TheOtherOne,
I went looking at the info that you pointed me at, did you know that a limited version of the same service applies to ISDN2 also? Just the voicemail service from what I can gather. Useful if the service goes down at one site, I can tell people to contact another office. Like you, I'd be very interested to hear what it's really like from somebody who's used it. Here's hoping you or I never do though!
Cheers,
Vicky
