Is there any way to add 12 new images to my classic gallerys?
When I go to edit my classic photo albums, "upgrade" appears next to them but no edit.
(Using new gallery layout with thumbs along the bottom)
If I upgrade, <br> appears after every line break so editing <br> out of 100 image descriptions will take ages unless there's a quicker way it can be solved.
All the images are mixed up and there's no way to sort by image title like with the old software last year. I know there's a sort feature but it's just a load of small images which you can't see the name of so no way of sorting them (images of flowers btw)
When zooming in on mobile phone to read text descriptions it's impossible to move the page around to read all the text.
Upgrading also makes the new album and images have a different urls /photoAblumsPro/ instead of /PhotoAlbums/ and small.imagename instaed of thumb_imagename. All the image urls of my classic albums are linked to an iphone app so i'll have to change about 180 urls but I've realised I could use find and replace so that's not too bad but still an inconvenience.
My old gallerys worked perfect on desktops and mobile and I would like to keep them but if I want to add more images to them i'm forced to upgrade to a new gallery which causes tons of proplems for me and won't be as good for my customers who view them.
I've attempted to edit the index.htm file and add my resized images and text files manually but I havn't succeded.
Thanks.
If there's no way to add images to my old gallerys can you please get your software developers to sort out the problems with the new gallerys!
I need the sort by title option back and the code <br> should not be appearing in my descriptions it should be a line break.
Thanks for all the support so far (none)
After hours searching I've found out bt are using the galleria plugin (http://galleria.io)
There's code which can sort the images before they load but where abouts do I put it?
index.php?
galleria.min.js?
galleria.filmstrip.js?
Galleria.configure({ dataSort: function(a, b) { // the sorting algorithm } });
Excellent, just found another bug.
After upgrading a gallery the alt tag is changed to the image description.
It should use the image title or file name.
