After changing from residential to a business infinity package with static IP, my Vodafone Suresignal is refusing to work
Anyone got any experience of this?
Many thanks

- last heard... use the 2701HGV-C hub and then reliable. Business Hub 3 unreliable for a lot of users due to the way the vpn tunnelling works

Hi Guys,
This will not work if you are using a BT router, you need one which can do port clamping to a greater degree that ours.
The reason for this is essentially that the two products are not natively compatible. It has to do with how fibre handles packets of data as well as data compression.
If i were in your shoes I would borrow a Third party router, if any one you know has a spare one, open all of the ports an enable port clamping.
If this works then you can get a similar router without wasting any money.
Hope this helps

Does the Business Hub 5 solve the Sure Signal issues?

Business Hub 5 does not solve the problem ... back to old faithful 2701HGV-C with a Hub 3/4/5 next to it when connecting to major corporates and their secure network servers as the 2701HGV-C appears to increasingly corrupt security packets over HTTP.
