Hi,
I am currently using the BTVoyager 220V router to connect at work but want to use the 2Wire BT2700HGV router because of it's wireless capability.
Unfortunately, I do not have the driver disk and cannot find a working download link on the BT site. Can anyone supply a valid link to working drivers please.

Hi
You do not need the CD to set up the HG2700 router. The router can be setup manually by following the details in the quick setup guide or by following the userguide taking note of page 13 and page 15.
I hope this helps

As I said in the original meassage, I need a driver so my XP computer can communicate via USB with the router.
When can get the PC to install the device then I can set it up. Until then I need the USB driver for Windows XP.
The only link on the BT website for a driver for this router is a dead link and I cannot go online to search windows update because the PC cannot intall the router.
I have to connect using USB as the PC uses the ethernet port to connect to the site network and I have no wireless adapter on the PC. I need the wireless capability for other devices.
Just to ensure I am making myself absolutely clear - I need a USB driver for Windows XP to enable my PC to connect to the router.
Hi
You would need to contact the Technical Team to arrange for a new CD to be posted out to you.

It doesn't matter anymore. I managed to set the router up as a wireless gateway to the Voyager 220V. A bit of a hack and using 2 devices instead of 1 but it works.
Why a working driver download cannot be made available is beyond belief. This is the first piece of equipment in over 20 years of using computers that I haven't been able to obtain a driver for using a simple download.
With support like this - no wonder people choose other ISP's when they have the choice.
Hi
I'm really glad you managed to get a working solution. I would still recommend contacting the technical team to have a CD sent out to you and stored with the router, this would prevent any problems in the future should you decide to use the 2Wire device.
Kind Regards
