I'm now up and running having used BT Advanced Webhosting (with Easy Site Wizard Pro and Easy Store Manager Pro 3) to make my online shop. Yay!
If I were to upgrade to BT eShop, would I have to recreate the website I've already made or is there a way of preserving the existing website and linking it up to eShop?
By the way, is it £25 per month for eShop in addition to the £15 per month I already pay for Advanced Webhosting or is it £25 per month in total? It's not clear to me.
Thanks!
Hi SuV,
There is no direct possibility to use the existing content from the website and the current shop to the BT eShop. You may be able to re-use the shops content by copying the HTML, but there is no guarantee that this will work.
I don't know if the Easy Store Manager offers the possibility to export data and in what format. This might make the process of moving to the eShop quite easy, i.e. exporting from Easy Store Manager, importing into eShop.
The website itself can be integrated into the shop as part of the shop, offering a all-in-one solution. However, the current content would have to be moved over like the current shop's content.
Hope this is of help
