It does support wireless connection, I think bridging will work.

Many thanks.  I looked in the menu of my Home Hub and there was no option there...

Is that one of the differences between the Home and the Business hubs?

Hi stevelincs,
When you say bridging do you mean by WDS, then I am afarid no the router does not support this.

But if you can assign it on an IP within the range of the main router, disable DHCP you can  use it as a wireless access point as long as it's connected to the main router via ethernet cable.

Hi Mark

I had my previous setup as a Netgear as the main wireless router with the second Wireless access point set in repeater mode.

This was linked to the main WAP via wireless and not Network Cable.

If not possible with BT Home or Business Hub, can I use another wireless router in place of the Hub?

Cheers Steve.

Hi Steve,

Yes you can put any router onto the line that you wish, but BT would not be able to help in setting up 3rd party routers.

Excellent news Mark.

I would rather have used the hub as the main but it's good to know there's a workaround.

I'll have a play this weekend.

Steve.
