I've had BT infinity for the last 5 months. For the first few weeks the download speed seemed absolutely fine but within a few weeks dropped to no greater than 2 Mbps and has been like this ever since. I've run through all of the recommeded tests (btw speed test hard wired to the test socket and laptop hardwired to router, repeated several times) and checked the local internet exchange services to check expected speeds.
Here are the results below; any help would be very appreciated as I don't feel I am getting the service that i signed up to.
Download Speed | |
1.84 Mbps |
|
0 Mbps | 1.82 Mbps |
Download speed achieved during the test was - 1.84 Mbps |
Upload Speed | |
0.74 Mbps |
|
0 Mbps | 10 Mbps |
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 0.74Mbps |
The test result has indicated that you should contact your ISP for further assistance.
