Hi,
I currently have a BT modem connected to a Netgear N900 router which then has an ethernet cable connected to a TP-Link Gigabit Switch for all my hardwired connections. All works absolutley brilliant and really happy with BT inifinty. I have one wifi black spot in the house which just happens to be my side of the bed (a real pain when trying to use the internet in bed). I am thinking of moving my wifi router to the room under the bedroom to get a better signal but then this would change the setup to BT modem/TP-Link Switch/Wifi Router. Will this still be ok? I dont want to just try it and mess up my current setup.
Thanks
Colin
HI @smocol
The easy way forward would be to slap a powerline adapter with a wifi hotspot onto the network.
I googled "powerline adapter wifi" and there are a bunch showing up there. Its a bit of an extra cost but it would allow you to add that in and forget about it, rather than modifying your existing network.
Hope this helps
